Diveley, Isabel 'Izzie'

Isabel “Izzie” Diveley, 90, of Arnold died Feb. 11, 2026. Mrs. Diveley was known for living her life rooted in faith, devotion and service. In 1962, she and her husband moved from Lemay to Arnold, where she became a member of St. David Catholic Church since its founding in 1963. There, she sang in the choir and often served as its unofficial director. She also cleaned the rectory, performed secretarial duties and taught religion classes, among other acts of service. Later, she joined the outside workforce and retired from DEMAC. Alongside her husband, she also participated in multiple Pro-Life trips, standing firmly for her beliefs and values. She will be remembered for her love and kindness. Born Jan. 30, 1936, she was the daughter of Marian and Juanita Jimenez.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Carl Diveley, whom she married on April 19, 1958.

She is survived by three sons: Dave (Tammy) of Cape Girardeau, Dan (Lisa) of Imperial and Doug (Beth) of Arnold; eight grandchildren and their spouses; 12 great-grandchildren; her nieces and nephews; and many other family members and friends.

She also was preceded in death by a brother: Rick Jimenez; a niece: Juanita (Jimenez) Long; and multiple siblings-in-law.

Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in St. Louis County. A funeral Mass is scheduled for 9:45 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, at Mary, Mother of the Church, 5901 Kerth Road, in St. Louis County. Burial will follow in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to Birthright in Hillsboro. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel.
