Henry “Seth” McKee Jr., 84, of Arcadia died May 13, 2024, in Pilot Knob. Mr. McKee was a member of Arcadia Valley United Methodist Church in Ironton. He will be remembered as a man who loved to live life to the fullest. Born Feb. 24, 1940, in Hematite, he was the son of the late Elene (Carron) and Henry Seth McKee Sr.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Mary Louise (Shipp) McKee.
He is survived by two children: Jeffrey Michael (Lourdes) McKee of Houston, Texas, and Patricia Ann (David) Johnson of Omaha, Neb.; two sisters: Sylvia Ivy of Streetman, Texas, and Suzanne English of Streetman; four grandchildren: Amanda McKee, Jarrod McKee, Seth Johnson and Tyler (Mindy) Johnson; and two great-grandsons: Issac and Maverick Johnson.
He also was preceded in death by three brothers: Wayne Culley, Kenneth McKee and Larry McKee.
A memorial visitation is scheduled for 10 a.m. until a memorial service at noon Thursday, May 23, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus, officiated by Pastor Adam Kaul. Burial will be in Danby Cemetery in Festus. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
