Rehwinkel, Glenda

Glenda Lee Rehwinkel, 88, of Sunset Hills died Aug. 8, 2026, at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis. Mrs. Rehwinkel was a retired secretary for Northwest R-1 School District. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, volunteered with the Oasis Program at Cedar Springs Elementary School and participated in several mission trips. She was a Southern Baptist, non-denominational. Born June 22, 1938, in Hickoria, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Clara (Heffner) Keller and the Rev. George Keller.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years: Richard John Rehwinkel.

She is survived by four children: Mark A. (Kathy) Rehwinkel of Ash Grove, Kelley P. Shaffer of College Station, Texas, Kurt R. Rehwinkel of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Dana E. (Scott) Smith of Cedar Hill; five grandchildren: Jordan Shaffer of Phoenix, Ariz., Samantha Shaffer of Princeton, Texas, Taylor (Korde) Rosa of Cedar Hill, Erin Smith of Destin, Fla., and Keller Smith of Breckenridge, Colo.; two great-grandchildren: Levi Rosa of Cedar Hill and Elaine "Lainey" Rosa of Cedar Hill; three siblings: Linda Wisner of Parkersburg, Ill., Anna Grissom of McDougal, Ark., and Margaret Rohn of Fort Myers, Fla.; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She also was preceded in death by an infant brother: Doy Keller.

A celebration of life is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, at First Baptist Church, 8265 Local Hillsboro Road, in Cedar Hill, officiated by Darrell D. Gwaltney Jr.
