Gerlene R. Webb, 83, of Arnold died Dec. 31, 2025. Mrs. Webb was a member of Hope Lutheran Church. She worked for many years in food service for the Northwest R-1 School District and was a proud member of the United Auto Workers (UAW) Union. She was known for her strong work ethic, faith and love of the simple joys in life, especially watching and enjoying game shows and being an avid Cardinals fan. Born May 7, 1942, in Point Rest, she was the daughter of the late Henry Fornkahl and Gertrude (Hacht) Fornkahl.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Paul Webb.
She is survived by two sons: Randy (Stacey) Webb and Scott Webb; a brother: Gerald (Karen) Fornkahl; and numerous other family members and friends.
She also was preceded in death by a grandson: Jordan Webb; and a sister: Virginia Shilling.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until services at noon Thursday, Jan. 8, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
