Frank Joseph Thoendel Jr., 80, of Branson died Nov. 6, 2024. Mr. Thoendel was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and golfing. He was an artist when it came to woodworking and leather smithing. His favorite pastime was spending time and making memories with his family. Born Jan. 19, 1944, in Petersburg, Neb., he was the son of the late FA and Ruth (Camp) Thoendel.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years: Maureen Thoendel; two sons: Christopher (Julie) Thoendel of Williamsburg, Va., and Sean Thoendel of Branson; four grandchildren: Drake, Shep, Anna and Maddox; a sister: Virginia Sides of Scottsbluff, Neb.; a brother: Ken (Ginger) Thoendel of Sioux Falls, S.D.; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by two sisters: Joan (Bob) Duryea and Dolores Anstett; and a brother-in-law: Wayne Sides.
A private service will be held at a later date.
