O'Keane, Forrest

Forrest O’Keane, 93, of Fenton died May 22, 2024. Mr. O’Keane served in the U.S. Army and was a lifelong mechanic. He was the original owner of O’Keane Automotive in High Ridge. He later retired to become a farmer. He was a member of the Model T Club ILL-IA-MO. He was an avid hunter and loved Ford Model T’s and Model A Cars. Born July 18, 1930, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Violet (Ruder) and John O’Keane.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years: Geraldine O’Keane.

He is survived by one child: Melba (Wayne) Nolan of Fenton; three grandchildren: Tracy Nolan of Bonne Terre, Nancy (Nick) Orphan of House Springs and Scott (April) Nolan of Fenton; and three great-grandchildren: Lindsey (Jacob) Cartwright, Jessica Orphan and Sidney Orphan.

He was preceded in death by two siblings: Rose Ceballos and Robert (Bobby) O’Keane.

Visitation is scheduled for 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, at Kutis Funeral Home, 10151 Gravois Road, in Affton. Funeral services are scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
