Eugene Alan Roth, 71, of De Soto died Aug. 21, 2024, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Born April 6, 1953, in Festus, Mr. Roth was the son of the late Leola (Shubert) and Clyde B. Roth.
He is survived by his wife: Sharon (Allgire) Roth; three children: Daryl (Rachel) Roth of De Soto, Bradley Roth of De Soto and Mathew Roth of De Soto; two stepchildren: Stephanie (John) Tilmon of Vinita, Okla., and Scott (Katrina) White of Festus; two siblings: Marilyn (Terry) Yesberg of Crystal City and Michael (Joyce) Roth of Herculaneum; and six grandchildren: Nadia Roth, Allison Tilmon, Luke Tilmon, Carter White, Olivia White and Lucas White.
He was preceded in death by two sisters: Betty Potts and Judy (Cary survives of Jackson) Rohr.
Visitation is scheduled from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus. A graveside service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 26, at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
