Morris, Elizabeth

Elizabeth Lynn "Liz" (Eshbaugh) Morris, 53, of Hillsboro died March 10, 2024, at her home after battling kidney cancer since 2019. Mrs. Morris grew up in St. Louis and moved to Texas in the third grade and then back to St. Louis in the eighth grade. She was very athletic and loved playing softball when she was young. She also loved roller and ice skating, riding her bike and going to the mall. She enjoyed a career in transportation/brokerage, learning from her dad and then eventually working with him. In her spare time, she enjoyed thrifting and going to estate sales with her mom and sisters. Music was a big part of her life, and she loved going to concerts and listening to live music. She had a huge heart for animals, especially her pets, Pablo, Nova and Ninja. She will be remembered for her determination and always bouncing back from her treatments and surgeries with a smile on her face. Born Nov. 11, 1970, in Kirkwood, she was the daughter of the late Veronica (Zielinski) and Richard Eshbaugh.

She is survived by her husband: Chris Morris of Hillsboro; three children: Dustin Radake of St. Louis, Nicholas Morris of Hillsboro and Emma Bollinger of Hillsboro; three siblings: Laura (Todd) Schmitt of Chesterfield, Cynthia (Sean) Schmoll of Hillsboro and Michael Eshbaugh of St. Louis; three in-laws: Matt (Crystal) Morris of Terre Haute, Ind., Josh (Karrie) Kaucher of St. Peters and Angie Morris of Florissant; and many other family members and friends.

A memorial gathering is scheduled from 1-4 p.m. with services scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday, March 23, at Fieser Funeral Home, 401 Gravois Road, in Fenton. Arrangements are under the direction of Fieser Funeral Home.
