Edward L. Tanner, 80, of House Springs died Nov. 14, 2023, at Delmar Gardens of Meramec Valley in Fenton. Mr. Tanner worked in accounting over the years at Chrysler, Apex Oil and Comtrea. He enjoyed snow skiing, cruises and visiting the Current River with family and friends. Born Aug. 11, 1943, in Norfolk, Va., he was the son of the late Lucile and Theo Tanner.
He is survived by his wife: Marilyn (Punkie); a son: Craig Tanner; a brother: Bruce (Sarah) Tanner; two grandsons: Kortland and Clayton Bruce; and a son-in-law: Kort Bruce.
He was preceded in death by a daughter: Sandy Bruce.
Visitation is scheduled for 10 a.m. until a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, at Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements ae under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
