Dorothy “Dottie” Marty, 84, of Imperial died Sept. 25, 2026. Mrs. Marty was a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church of Arnold, where she was baptized, confirmed, married, taught Sunday school, served as Altar Guild chair, welcomed others as a greeter and volunteered. She graduated from Fox High School in 1959 and worked as an accountant for the Fox C-6 School District for 31 years, making many friends. She and her husband loved antique cars, and she served as a secretary for several car clubs while traveling throughout many states. She enjoyed sharing her faith and spending time with family and friends. Born Feb. 20, 1942, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Anna and Leonard Mueller.
She is survived by her husband of more than 65 years: Wayne Marty; a sister: Grace (Steve) Hughey; three brothers: David (Sue) Mueller, Richard (Lorraine) Mueller and Paul Mueller; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Donald (Susan) Mueller.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, at St. John Lutheran Church, 3517 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold, 63010. Visitation will resume from 10 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 2, at the church. Memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church in Arnold. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel in St. Louis County.
