Donald F. Deaton, 78, of Wildwood died May 5, 2026. Mr. Deaton graduated from De Soto High School in 1965. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. Born July 6, 1947, in Poplar Bluff, he was the son of the late Lester F. and Bernice E. Deaton.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years: Elizabeth Stever Deaton; four children: Molly (Brent) Hanlin, Becky (CT) Jones, William (Monika) Deaton and Katie (John) Falk; a sibling: Larry (Frances) Deaton; and 12 grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held later this summer.
