Donald Claude Page, 97, of Festus died June 10, 2025, at his home. Mr. Page retired from General Motors as an electrician and served in the USCG Merchant Marine during WWII. He was a member of the American Legion 256 and the Shekinah Masonic Lodge. Born July 13, 1927, in Crystal City, he was the son of the late Cecelia (Dvorak) and Harry L. Page.
He is survived by his wife: Mary Katherine (Schrum) Page; four grandchildren: Gretchen (Scott) Bauman, Emilie (Rodney) Newbury, Sarah (Joe Dobbins) Hoffman and Cecilia Schuckenbrock; nine great-grandchildren: Samantha (Jake) Brewster, Margaret Bauman, Brendan Newbury, Mason (Sammi) Newbury, Jacob Newbury, Carson Newbury, Roman Newbury, Brock Hoffman and Shea Dobbins; and a great-great-grandchild: Rhett Brewster.
He was preceded in death by a daughter: Karen Gail (Donald survives) Schuckenbrock; four sisters: Jean (the late Al) Shireman, Betty Page, Patty (the late Bob) Mangin and Fern Lee Page; and a brother: Harry V. (the late Maxine) Page.
Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until funeral services at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 14, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
