Dicky Lee Bridges, 74, of St. Ann died April 27, 2024. Mr. Bridges served in the U.S. Air Force as an avionics instrument systems specialist. After his military service, he worked as a tile setter before he retired. He was a member of VFW Post 3944. In his free time, he loved golfing, drinking ice-cold Busch beer while watching Cardinals baseball, doing crossword puzzles in pen and, most importantly, spending time with his family and friends. Born June 10, 1949, in Dudley, he was the son of the late Imogene (Richardson) and Roy Bridges.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years: Linda C. (O'Brien) Bridges of St. Ann; a daughter: Michele (Bridges) Fritz; a son-in-law: Richard Fritz of Linn Creek; nieces and nephews: Jackie, Danny, Karla, Dana, Christy and their families.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Jackie Roy Bridges and Terry Wayne Bridges.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until funeral services at noon Wednesday, May 8, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Ave., in Festus, officiated by Pastor Ryan Sutton. Burial will follow in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 223 Rosa L. Parks Ave., Suite 301, Nashville, TN 37203. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
