Diane Faye Williams, 67, of Festus died June 29, 2025, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mrs. Williams worked as the city clerk for the city of Olympian Village. In her free time, she enjoyed painting, crocheting, solving puzzles, going for rides with her husband and spending time with her grandkids. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Born Aug. 18, 1957, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Ruth (Hutchison) Combs of Ste. Genevieve and the late Garland D. Combs.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of more than 49 years: John A. Williams of Festus; a son: David (Melinda) Williams of Potosi; three sisters: Linda (Jack) Stines of Pontoon Beach, Ill., Bonnie (Rick) Scheffler of Potosi and Janet (Patrick Hoffman) Combs of De Soto; four grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and numerous other family members and friends.
A graveside service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, July 12, at Peaceful Ridge Cemetery in De Soto. Inurnment will follow in the Peaceful Ridge Mausoleum. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.
