Denise Lynn (Morris) Roberts, 63, of Pevely died Aug. 11, 2025, in Herculaneum. Mrs. Roberts retired as an X-ray technician. She was of the Lutheran faith. Born May 21, 1962, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Evelyn (Jernigan) and Fred Morris.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years: James Roberts of Pevely; five children: James B. Roberts of Festus, Becky Roberts (John) Boettger of Pevely, Charlie (Myeca) Dunlap of Indiana, Jason Mast of Arnold and Amber (Amy) Mast of Barnhart; nine grandchildren: James F. Roberts, Lily Roberts, Hailey Roberts, Maddie Boettger, Charles Dunlap II, Gabriella Dunlap, Jacob Mast, Jason Mast Jr. and Brooke Mast; two great-grandchildren: Charles Dunlap III and Ava Dunlap; three siblings: Bruce Morris of Pevely, Shelley Morris (Greg) Hook of Manchester and Vickie Sherfy of Festus; a niece and two nephews: Cooper Hook, Evan Hook and Michael Sherfy; and many other family members and friends.
Mrs. Roberts donated her body to science in hopes of furthering education and treatment options for ALS. A memorial visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until a memorial service at noon Friday, Aug. 22, at St. John's Lutheran Church, 3517 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold. Memorials may be made to the SLUCare ALS Clinic or Team Gleason.
