Delores “Jean” Davey, 84, of House Springs died July 26, 2025. Mrs. Davey loved spending time with her family and took joy in being involved with her grandchildren. She enjoyed Cardinals games and football in the fall. She was an avid reader and passed down a love of reading to her grandchildren. She gardened and had an interest in a variety of crafts. Born May 17, 1941, in Rolla, she was the daughter of the late Opal (Stogsdill) Harris and Robert Harris.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years: John Davey.
She is survived by two children: Brian (Michelle) Davey of House Springs and Ladonna (Chris) Hayes of House Springs; eight grandchildren: Laura (Brandon), Rebecca, Katie, Joanna (Matt), Megan, Rhianna (David), Jenna and CJ; 18 great-grandchildren: Mathew (Hayleigh), Abbigail, Oliana, Ryan, Gianna, Nicolae, Talia, Ella, Ciaran, Jude, Sam, Mason, Lila, Cheyanne, Dakota, Mazikeen, Xzavier and Izalia; a great-great-grandson: Odin; two siblings: Lana (Don) Blankenship of Rolla and Joe (Carol) Harris of Rolla; and many nieces and nephews.
She also was preceded in death by a child: Gary; and siblings: Phyllis and two infant sisters.
A celebration of life service will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
