Debra Anne “Debbie” (Jost) Gosney, 67, of De Soto died May 1, 2025, after a battle with cancer. Mrs. Gosney enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her caring nature and big heart. Born June 7, 1957, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Evelyn (Brown) Jost.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years: Steve H. “Slick” Gosney; three children: Steve Gosney Jr., Lisa (Josh Boker) Gosney and Chad Gosney; four siblings: Jim Jost, Phillis Pashia, Mike Jost and Steve (Michelle) Jost; four grandchildren: Jonathan, Jayden, Emmet and Blake; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by a child: Christina Gosney.
A celebration of life is scheduled from 2-6 p.m. Saturday, June 7, at Fieser Funeral Home, 401 Gravois Road, in Fenton. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Fieser Funeral Home.
