Corey Allan Toolen, 35, of De Soto died March 31, 2025, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Chesterfield. Mr. Toolen enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Born June 9, 1989, in St. Louis, he was the son of Darlena (Hermann) and Timothy Toolen of De Soto.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandmother: Johnnie (the late John) Toolen of Festus; grandparents: Mark and Sue Hermann of Texas; and many other family members and friends.
Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until services at 1 p.m. Monday, April 7, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main, in Festus, officiated by Pastor Mark McMullin. Burial will follow in Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Memorials may be made toward NF2 research. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
