Connie Esther Williams, 83, of De Soto died Jan. 18, 2025, at her home. Ms. Williams worked as a live-in CNA for hospice patients and was a Christian. Born April 5, 1941, in Festus, she was the daughter of the late Stella May Lancaster and Rudolph Scott.
She is survived by four children: Carol Moss of Moss Point, Miss., Linda Moss of De Soto, Kim Moss of Hillsboro and Andy Williams of De Soto; a sibling: Howard (Gerry) Scott of Festus; 16 grandchildren: Jenn Deaton of Cahokia, Ill., Jeannie Beers of De Soto, Elijah (Heather Owens) Wougman of De Soto, Nicholas Williams of Belleville, Ill., Lisa (Larkin) Sweeny of Fort Wayne, Ind., Valerie (Jake) Politte of De Soto, James Boyer of Hillsboro, Jesse Boyer of Hillsboro, Taylor Conner of Rochester, N.Y., Amber (Stephen Gomez) Williams of Arnold, Storm (Taylor Green) Williams of De Soto, Nautica (Orlando Clark) Williams of Herculaneum, Keiley Williams of Festus, Isaiah (Jessica) Wougamon of Sullivan, Ashley (Joshua) Sewell of Moss Point, Miss., and Nathaniel Wougamon of Cape Girardeau; 21 great-grandchildren: Nataleya, Makayla, Asher, Chloe, Connor, Olivia, Benjamin, Jayden, Carter, Charlie, Lillia, Harrison, Matthew, Killian, Raven, Renesmee, Paige, Dominic, Destiny, Anala and Joshua Jr. two great-great-grandchildren: Lorraine and Lewis; five caregivers: Coy, Stephanie, Layla, Maggie and Cynthia; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by a child: Michelle Moss; a grandson: Mikey Deaton; and seven siblings.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
