Cipriana “Ruben” Zamudio-Diaz, 57, of Festus died April 20, 2026. Mr. Zamudio-Diaz was a hardworking and dedicated man who provided for and cared for those he loved. He proudly served in the Mexican Military, demonstrating honor, strength and commitment to his country. He later worked at La Pachanga Mexican Restaurant and Walmart, where he was known or his dedication and strong work ethic. He will be remembered for his resilience, generous heart and the love he had for his family. Born Sept. 26, 1968, he was the son of Carmen Diaz and the late Juan Emanuel.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his spouse: Pamela Browning; two daughters: Tessa Zamudio-Diaz and Shyanne Brown; a stepdaughter: Heather Dolan; three brothers: Ishmael (Rosie) Zamudio-Diaz, Jose (Chica) Zamudio-Diaz and Fredrico (Paloma) Zamudio-Diaz; two sisters: Juanita (Chenchito) Zamudio-Diaz and Olga (Louis) Zamudio-Diaz; four biological grandchildren; four nonpaternal grandchildren; a great-grandchild; 22 nieces and nephews; and an estimated 150 cousins.
He was preceded in death by a son: Oscar Zamudio-Rivera; two brothers: Juan Emanuel II and Jose Angel; and his paternal grandmother and grandfather.
Visitation is scheduled from 3 p.m. until services at 7 p.m. Today, April 28, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Ave., in Festus. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
