Cecil Faye (McLeary) Horner, 82, of High Ridge died Dec. 21, 2024, in St. Louis. Mrs. Horner was an active member of Canaan Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Born April 12, 1942, in Sturdivant, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy (Duniphan) and Marshal McLeary.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years: Clyde "Joel" Horner, whom she married on April 16, 1960; a son: Randy (Patti) Horner; three grandchildren: Michael Horner, Ashley Davis and Bradley (Rachel) Horner; seven great-grandchildren: Abbey Horner, Claire Horner, Kyle Horner, Isaac Horner, Crue Davis, Luna Davis and Jayce Horner; a brother: Noah McLeary; a sister: Betsy Horner; and numerous other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by a son: Carl Dean Horner.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today, Dec. 30, at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home in Arnold. Burial was in Shepherd Hills Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home.
