Cannon Jacob Griffaw, 20, of Imperial died April 18, 2026, at his home. Mr. Griffaw attended college and was working as an HVAC technician for Village Electric Heating and Cooling. He was known as an independent, intelligent young man with a big heart who marched to the beat of his own drum. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, animals, music, Nike shoes and spending time with friends. Born Feb. 28, 2006, in Kirkwood, he was the son of Kristin Lawson (Ben) Faughn of Dixon and Travis (Malinda) Griffaw of Imperial.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by four siblings: Roman Griffaw of Imperial, Hazel Griffaw of Imperial, Sadie Faughn of Dixon and Drake Faughn of Dixon; and his grandparents: Raymond (Pamela) Griffaw of Imperial and Paul (Debbie) Lawson of Barnhart.
Visitation is scheduled from 3 p.m. until services at 6 p.m. Friday, May 1, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus. Memorials may be made to the Missouri Special Olympics. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
