Chambers, Brittany

Brittany Ann Chambers, 34, of Herculaneum died Jan. 13, 2026, in an automobile accident in Hillsboro. Ms. Chambers worked as a bartender. She was a Christian and was known for her friendly spirit and the light and love she shared with others. She loved being outdoors, going on adventures and, most of all, being a mother. Born Dec. 29, 1991, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Debra Borden of Valley Park and the late John Chambers.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son: Hudson Hankins; the father of Hudson: Steven Hankins of Hillsboro; five siblings: Crystal Stawicki, Joe Stawicki, Michele Borden, Meredith Chambers and Dori Stevens; uncles and aunts: Don Chambers, Lisa (fiance David Raub) Chambers, Sherri Lambing and Patrick Lambing; and her nieces and nephews: Clarissa, Courtney, Terry, Oktober, Lacey, Jayda, Landon, Nevaeh, Julian and Creed; and many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by a sibling: Chandler Bradshaw; an uncle: Larry Plopper; her grandparents: Michael “Pa Pa” and Donna “Ma Ma” Chandler and Cecil “Pa Pa” and Carol “Me Me” Chambers.

Visitation is scheduled for 4 p.m. today, Feb. 2, at The Loft, 7515 Morganford Road, in St. Louis. Visitation will resume at 10:30 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, at The Loft, officiated by Pastor Lisa Davidson. Interment will be in St. Matthew’s Cemetery in St. Louis. Arrangements are under the direction of Michel Funeral Home in St. Louis.
