Berniece Lois “Sis” (Pryor) Miner, 88, of High Ridge died Sept. 12, 2025, at her home. Born Dec. 1, 1936, in Boss, she was the daughter of the late James Solomon and Zola Josephine (Davis) Pryor.
She was preceded in death by her husband: James “Jim” Miner.
She is survived by three children: Kimberlee Sexton of High Ridge, Tim (Tammy) Miner and of Festus and Tara (Matt) Boscia of Weldon Spring; seven grandchildren: Marissa Sexton, Dalton Miner, Tyler (Brittney) Miner, Rhe’a (Blake) McDowell, Dalton Hunsaker, Audrey Boscia and Lincoln Boscia; seven great-grandchildren: Brantley, Amelia, Eli, Emersyn, Parker, Nolan and Colin; several nieces and nephews; and many other family members and friends.
She also was preceded in death by two brothers: Lloyd Pryor and Paul “Tooter” Pryor.
Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until services at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, at the Boss Assembly of God Church. Burial will follow in the Boss Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Boss Assembly of God Church or Boss Cemetery and left with Wilson Mortuary. Memorial envelopes will be available. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilson Mortuary in Salem.
