Boyer, Arlene

Arlene Boyer, 93, of Cadet died Oct. 11, 2025, at her home. Mrs. Boyer was a lifelong member of St. Joachim Catholic Church and was also active in the St. Anne Solidarity. She enjoyed reading inspirational books, playing euchre and scrabble as well as bingo with the rural parish workers, listening to the RFD Channel and spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her loving spirit, warmth, kind heart and family values. Born Jan. 19, 1932, in Potosi, she was the daughter of the late Mary Pearl (DeClue) and Rolla Pashia.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Arthur “King” Boyer, whom she married on May 20, 1950, in Old Mines.

She is survived by five daughters: Geraldine "Gerri" (Eddie) Skiles of Farmington, Karen (Rodney) Caldwell of De Soto, Christine (Robert) Portell of Cadet, Marcia (Rick) Politte of Cadet and Melissa (Dan) Blair of Potosi; five sons: Danny "Tar" (Barb) Boyer of Old Mines, Willy (Connie) Boyer of Cadet, Randy (Karla) Boyer Karla of St. Charles, Marty (Michelle) Boyer of Terre Du Lac and Kevin (Carrie) Boyer of Blackwell; four siblings: Bernard (Linda) Pashia of Potosi, Helen Brewer of Arnold, Donald Pashia of Potosi and Cecelia (Rich) Harrison of Arnold; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Pashia of Potos; 59 grandchildren; 92 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren with three more on the way; and many other family members and friends.

She also was preceded in death by a daughter: Sharon Boyer; a son: Richard “RK” Boyer; a son-in-law: Joe Boyer; six siblings: Ann Marie (Tommy) Roy, Howard (Wanda) Pashia, Ralph (Mert) Pashia, Oscar “Bob” Pashia, Joe (Vella) Pashia and Jack (Mary) Pashia; and a great great-grandchild: Silas Osia.

Services were held Oct. 15 at St. Joachim Catholic Church in Old Mines, officiated by Father Tony Dattilo. Burial was in St. Joachim Catholic Church Cemetery in Old Mines. Pallbearers were Colten Thompson, Kaleb Boyer, Kobe Boyer, Riley Boyer, Blake Boyer, Luke McAllister, Ayden Ricketts and Lucas Gann. Arrangements were under the direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
