Amber Marie Peters, 42, of Desloge died April 25, 2024, at her home. Ms. Peters worked as an EMT for Cape Girardeau County. Born July 5, 1981, in Crystal City, she was the daughter of Audrey (Clover) Day and the late Clarence Day Sr.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her fiance: Marvin Tiggs; three children: Hailey, Colbey and Kylie Peters, all of Desloge; 10 sisters: Tamara Pruett, Sheree Pruett, Ashely Lane, Kathy Miller, Shaw Day, Shannon Day, Samantha Day, Christina LeGrand, Jennifer Crosby and Katie Clover; 10 brothers: Timothy Nezik, Russell Nezik, Clarence Day Jr., Dan Day Sr., David Day, Timothy Day Sr., Alex Day, Ronald Day, Daniel Clover and Andrew Clover; and many other family members and friends.
Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until a funeral service at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto, officiated by Mike Harrison. Burial will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
