Corn, Alycia

Alycia Brianne Corn, 26, of Bonne Terre died July 26, 2025. Ms. Corn was known for her brown eyes, love for the color purple and her great heart. She was an organ donor who saved the lives of two people and more to come, giving others hope, healing and a second chance at life. She will be remembered for her generosity. Born Aug. 22, 1998, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of William Corn Jr. and Barbara (Hagler) Thompson.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by two children: Grayson Ryder Wideman and Elijah Christopher Bauer; three siblings: Jonathan (Jasmine) Hagler, Matthew Corn and Michael (Brittany) Corn; grandparents: Alice and Stephen Rethemeyer; aunts and uncles: Christy Reed, Carla and John Jennemann, James (Tina) Hagler and numerous others; cousins: Anna Bertrand, Melissa Bertrand, Kayla Clay, Edward Hollmann Jr., Brandi Cushman and numerous others; along with nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents: James and Loretta Hagler, and William Corn Sr.; and an uncle: Thomas Trigg.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
