Alice J. Lentz, 85, of Olympian Village died June 21, 2026. As a young woman, Mrs. Lentz worked at the lunch counter at the Woolworth’s in Northwest Plaza. Later, she and her husband owned and operated the Krispy Kone restaurants in Mammoth Spring and Hardy, Ark. In her retirement years, she enjoyed reading, working in her yard and gardening. Born Dec. 25, 1940, in Success, Ark., she was the daughter of Estel and Juanita (Leonard) Dressendofer.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Bernie Lentz.
She is survived by a sister: Judy (the late George) Crider of Olympian Village; a brother: Ernest “Ernie” (Mary Ann) Dressendofer of St. Louis; four nieces and nephews: Robin (Jeff) Centerino, Tony (Debbie) Crider, Kevin (Kayla) Crider and Gina (Corey) Sandt; 11 great-nieces and great-nephews: Dustin (Autumn) Crider, Cori (Patrick) Berry, Dylan (Makenzie) Crider, Allie (Levi) Alldredge, Lukas Crider, Sophie (Billy) Grawe, Livie Sandt, Evan Sandt, Hank Elder, C.J. Elder and Amber Curnel; and five great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews: Addison Ross, Kennedy Ross, Marshall Crider, Lyla Mae Crider and Beau Alldredge.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until a funeral service at noon Monday, June 29, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto, officiated by the Rev. Aaron Watkins. Burial will take place in Charter Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
