Anthony ‘Andy’ Marlow, 52, Belleville, Ill.

Anthony “Andy” Marlow, 52, of Belleville, Ill., died April 17, 2023. Mr. Marlow enjoyed spending time with family and friends; practicing his faith; dirt track racing; eating table salt; smoking Marlboros; and drinking Bud Light; as well as country karaoke. He will be remembered for his sense of humor. Born Aug. 25, 1970, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Jammie (Horn) and William Marlow.

He is survived by his wife: Tiffany (Crook) Marlow of Belleville, Ill.; two children: Andrew “Flip Dog” Marlow and Jammie “Pie Pie” Marlow; a brother: Steve (Brenda) Marlow; three sisters: Kim (Mike) Eberhardt, Lisa (Gerald) Woodruff and Sonja (James) Grose; a brother-in-law: Steven (Jenna) Shrum; four sisters-in-law: Maryna Shrum, Amanda (Agustin) Tapia, Katie (Jessie) Murphy and Dakotah (Tim) Hancock; fathers-in-law and mothers-in-law: Steve and Angela Shrum and Tim and Sheila Crook; an uncle: Jay Jarmuszkiewcz; a lifelong best friend: Michael (Jessica) Akins Sr.; his race crew brothers: Ron Weidler, Bob Hooker, Dave Monterusso, Rich Breakfield and Joel Ortberg; his work family at Marathon Group; several nieces and nephews, including niece Savannah Hare; and many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his aunt and second mom: Yvonne “Boots” (Horn) Jarmuszkiewcz.

A celebration of life is from 3:30-7:30 p.m. today, April 21, at T.R.’s Place, 4901 Concordia Church Road, in Belleville, Ill. Memorials may be made to the family or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Valhalla-Gaerdner-Holten Funeral Home and Valhalla Gardens in Belleville, Ill.
