Molly V. Horton, 74, of De Soto died April 7, 2020, at the Villas in De Soto. Mrs. Horton had worked as a supervisor for Gemini Plastics. She was born June 28, 1945, in Gormania, W.Va., the daughter of Carlin Zinn of Seneca, S.C., and the late William Zinn. She was preceded in death by her husband: Kenneth B. Horton Sr.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by three children: Christina Goodman of Leadwood, Kenneth (Traci) Horton Jr. of Port St. Lucie, Fla., and Charles (Cynthia) Horton of Kansas City; five siblings: Gerald Fraley of Keyser, W.Va., Evelyn Duff of Wake, Va., Claude “Buddy” Ridings of Northport, Fla., Rosemary Halton of Sparta, Tenn., and Michael Stagg of Winchester, Va.; three grandchildren: Brittany (Justin) Chilton, Edwin Lang III and James Horton; and four great-grandchildren: Hailey, Ayla, Caden and Dakot.
She was preceded in death by six siblings: Shirley, David, Robert, John, Othey and Ruby Ridings.
A graveside service is scheduled for 1:15 pm. Tuesday, Sept. 1, in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks, officiated by the Rev. Jeremy Minster. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
