Mike Fischer, 58, of House Springs died Jan. 22, 2017, at St. Clare Health Center in Fenton. Mr. Fischer played guitar and piano and had a wonderful tenor voice. His passion was composing, writing music and participating in the church worship team. Born May 28, 1958, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Paul and Shirley (Laughlin) Fischer.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years: Stephanie (Ryan) Fischer; two sons: Jason Fischer and Peter Fischer; a sister: Vicki (Don) Fieser; an uncle; and several nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by a brother: Randy Fischer.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 500 Meramec Blvd., in Eureka. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at the church. Burial is in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
