Michael A. Schmidt, 61, of Imperial died Sept. 13, 2021, in Imperial. Mr. Schmidt worked at Nu Way and was a Catholic. Born Jan. 11, 1960, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Catherine (Wilson) Danneman and William Marvin Schmidt.
He is survived by four children: Justin (Kayla) Schmidt of Imperial, Corey (Dani) Schmidt of Imperial, Kevin (Jessica) Williams of Hillsboro and Ricky (Yelena) Williams of Imperial; two siblings: Fred (Tabetha) Schmidt of Herculaneum and Bill (Linda) Schmidt of Festus; and six grandchildren: Breanna Williams of Belleville, Kaden Williams of Imperial, Kolten Williams of Imperial, Riley Schmidt of Imperial, Shyann Williams of Hillsboro and Desirae Williams of Imperial.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Jim Schmidt.
A celebration of life is scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, at Pevely Park, 48 Main St.
