Mary N. Covington, 94, of High Ridge died Oct. 30, 2022, in High Ridge. Mrs. Covington was fond of animals and enjoyed gardening and traveling to visit family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Born May 18, 1928, in Rives, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Covedia (Tubbs) Hawks. She was preceded in death by her husband: Jim Ernest Covington.
She is survived by two daughters: Vivian L. Berry of Cedar Hill and Pat (Jim) Aubuchon of Fenton; two daughters-in-law: Evelyn Covington and Patricia Covington; 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four sons: Ronnie Ray, Jimmy Ward, Kenneth Covington and William Cecil Covington.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday Nov.18, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Burial is in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. A luncheon will follow at First Baptist Church of House Springs, 4375 Gravois Road, in House Springs. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
