Mary Jane Hunt, 91, of Hillsboro died June 6, 2020, at her home. Mrs. Hunt worked in the family business for many years before becoming an LPN in her 50s. She then worked the midnight shift as a floor nurse at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Crystal City for several years, as well as aiding numerous neighbors and friends with ailments in the middle of the night.
She is survived by her husband: Robert Hunt of Hillsboro; two sons: Steven Hunt of Herculaneum and Jeffrey (Mona) Hunt of Crystal City; three grandchildren: Linsey (Michael) Schoene, Thomas (Lynsey) Hunt and Jordan; and many neighbors and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In remembrance of Mrs. Hunt, please be kind to one another, show love and compassion to everyone you encounter and be generous to those you don’t know who might be in need of help.
