Bourbon, Mary

Mary Ann Bourbon, 70, of Tiff died Oct. 25, 2017, at her home. Mrs. Bourbon was a cook. Born Dec. 18, 1946, in Tiff, she was the daughter of the late Valerie Martha (Boyer) and Raymond Govero.

She is survived by her husband: Billy Bourbon; four children: Duane (Dana) Hahn of Tiff, Greg (Trish) Hahn of Tiff, Jeff “Doofer” (Sherry) Hahn of Cadet and Tammy White of Bonne Terre; three stepchildren: Ray Bourbon of Hillsboro, John (Mickie) Bourbon of Hillsboro and Tina Bourbon of De Soto; seven siblings: Mary Joyce “Peggy” (the late Frank) Young of De Soto, Maxine (Raymond) Haverstick Johnston of De Soto, Barbara Jean (the late Harlan) Love of De Soto, Curtis “Bud” (Barbara) Govero of Tiff, Clayton (Patricia) Govero of Bonne Terre, Richard (Thelma) Govero of Tiff and Ronald Govero of Cadet; two sisters-in-law: Phyllis Govero and Mary Govero, both of Tiff; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a stepson: Billy Bourbon; a sister: Veronica (Charles) Backof; and two brothers: Phillip Govero and Paul Govero.

A funeral service was held Oct. 29 at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto, officiated by Deacon Ed Boyer. Arrangements were under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
