Louise Frances Gardner, 87, of Festus died Sept. 21, 2020, at Festus Manor Nursing Center in Festus. Mrs. Gardner was a member of Radiant Life Pentecostal Church in Festus. She was born Jan. 30, 1933, in Wilhelmina, the daughter of the late Lucy (Thiele) and Garrett Brauer. She was preceded in death by her husband: Harold Raymond Gardner.
She is survived by four children: Cindy (John) Richardson of Hillsboro, Tim Grass of Bloomsdale, Doug Gardner of Festus and Cheryl (Mark) Holdinghaus of De Soto; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two children: Danny Grass and Drew Alan Gardner; and six siblings: William Brauer, Amelda Dees, Joe Brauer, Marie Deken, Isabel Siebert and Bob Brauer.
A graveside funeral service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, in the Danby Cemetery south of Festus, officiated by the Rev. Randy Gray. Memorial may be made to Radiant Life Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
