Loman Thomas Irvin, 92, of De Soto died Feb. 13, 2016, at Baisch Nursing Center in De Soto. Mr. Irvin was a member of Lynn Oak Baptist Church in Clarkton and volunteered with the Malden Senior Citizens Nutrition Site. Born Aug. 10, 1923, in Bernie, he was the son of the late Jessie Alvah Irvin and Lena Leatta Horn Irvin Williams. He was preceded in death by two wives: Lois Louella Weston Irvin and Helen Clark Irvin.
He is survived by three daughters: Louise (Richard) Stevens of Sparta, Wis., Joyce (Billy Ray) Becker of Portageville and Martha (James) Walker of De Soto; six grandchildren: Thomas Wayne Irvin, Lena Renfro, Michael Walker, Rhonda Wood, Christina Sisneros and Holly Glass; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son: Tommy Irvin; a brother: Othel Irvin; a half brother: Val Williams; and a sister: Ethel May Richards.
Visitation is scheduled at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 16, at Bradshaw Funeral Home, 1005 S. Madison, in Malden. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 17, at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Randy Wiseman. Burial is in Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden. Arrangements were under the direction of Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
