Linda Jane Toohey, 75, of Herculaneum died Feb. 23, 2020, at her home. Mrs. Toohey worked in the payroll office for Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. She was a member of Christ the King Community Church of Webster Groves. She enjoyed writing cookbooks, cooking, fly fishing and, most of all, spending time with family. Born Dec. 5, 1944, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Irma (Cartee) Kuhn. She was preceded in death by her husband: James Eugene Toohey.
She is survived by four sons: Shawn Michael Preston (Lynette) Toohey of Herculaneum, Robert M. Toohey of Festus, Patrick James Toohey of Herculaneum, Kevin Kyle (April) Toohey of Grubville; six grandchildren: Anthony, Charles, Joshua, Tyler, Rebecca and Joseph; six great-grandchildren: Whitney, Jameson, Tucker, Salem, Connor and Maximus; and her pet pug: Maggie Moo.
There will be no formal services at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home Twin City Chapel in Festus.
