Letha Black, 90, of Barnhart died March 19, 2021, at Bethesda Southgate Nursing Home in south St. Louis County. Mrs. Black was a homemaker. Born March 13, 1931, in Buick, she was the daughter of the late Julia (Parks) and James Barton.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Norman Black.

She is survived by a son: Ronald Black of St. Louis; three daughters: Susan Cox of Festus, Delena Ehrenreich of Barnhart and Sharon Lynch of De Soto; a brother: Donnie Barton of Oates; seven grandchildren: Shelley Blakely of Festus, Sheila Jackson of De Soto, Melissa Sides of Festus, David Cox of Crystal City, Andrew Ehrenreich of Barnhart, Carla Fugle of St. Louis and Tammy Herbert of St. Louis; and six great-grandchildren: Dakota, Katy, Bethany, Emily, Rose, Makayla and Emma.

She was preceded in death by a son: Norman Black Jr.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 24, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
