Karen S. Weekley, 71 of Hillsboro died April 3, 2020. Mrs. Weekley operated an animal sanctuary where she adopted and raised numerous species of animals.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years: Herman; and her “chosen daughter of her heart:” Julie Jeffery.
Services and burial at St. Trinity Cemetery are private. Arrangements are under the direction of Hoffmeister South County Chapel.
