Justin Alexander Reando, 22, of Festus died Aug. 28, 2017, in St. Louis. Mr. Reando was
a 2014 graduate of Festus High School and worked as a warehouse forklift operator for White Castle. He was an avid racing enthusiast and competitor who raced at Pevely, Belleville and most tracks in the area and was a member of the short-track racing organization called United Midwest Promoters. Born April 24, 1995, in St. Louis, he was the son of Teresa (Parson) and Jon Paul Reando of Festus.
He is survived by a brother: Jon Paul (Tiffany Haus) Reando II of Pevely; a sister: Jessica (Justin Chatagnier) Reando of Thibodaux, La.; his grandmother: Dorothy Prater of De Soto; his grandfather: John Parson of Imperial; and two nephews: Gunnar and Lincoln.
Visitation is at 2 p.m. and a memorial service is scheduled for 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Ave., in Festus. Memorials may be made the Allied Auto Racing Asc Point Fund to benefit drivers at Belleclair. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
