Judy M. Boyer, 73, of Cadet died Aug. 16, 2021, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County. Mrs. Boyer was a homemaker and a member of St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Richwoods. Born Sept. 8, 1947, in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Lucille (Bequette) Sampson. She was preceded in death by her husband: Donald Boyer.
She is survived by six children: Donald (Loretta) Boyer II of Bismarck, Kevin (Ruth) Boyer of Beaufort, Tony (Gina) Boyer of Westville, Ill., Sandy Boyer of Potosi, Chris (the late Barb) Boyer of Potosi and Melissa (Donald) Melton of Cadet; eight siblings: Carol (the late Joe) Peters of Cadet, Sue (Charlie) Brown of Fletcher, Diane (the late John) Guenther of Cadet, Elaine Sampson of Potosi, Tricia (Will) Rogers of Cadet, Jim (Barb) Sampson of Richwoods, Tommy Sampson of Cadet and Dale (Catherine) Sampson of Cadet eight grandchildren: Tiffany, Zach, Steven, Roxanne, Chance, Sienna, Sabrina and Cheyenne; and one great-grandchild: Analise.
She was preceded in death by a son: Thomas Boyer; and a grandson: Gunner.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 19, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 20, at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Richwoods, officiated by Father Robert D. Knight. Burial is in the St. Stephen’s Catholic Church Cemetery.
