Judith Ann “Judy” Henson, 61, of Valles Mines died Sept. 30, 2022, in Valles Mines. Mrs. Henson was a homemaker. Born March 7, 1961, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Mary L. (Buchanan) Ramo of St. Louis and the late Billy E. Alexander. She was preceded in death by her husband: Vernon Henson Sr.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by five children: Vernon (Kelly) Henson Jr. of Desloge, Desi (Anne) Moore of O’Fallon, Jason Henson of De Soto, Jake (Collene) Henson of De Soto and Jeff (Melinda) Henson of Lincoln, Neb.; four siblings: Mark Ramo of St. Louis and Darlene Dale, Donna Alexander and John Alexander, all of Poplar Bluff; and 10 grandchildren: Landen, Dylan, Ethan, Bethany, Mason, Adalyn, Gavin, Skylar, Mara and Ella.
Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until a funeral service at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto, officiated by the Rev. Terry Crank. Burial is in the Mt. Olive Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
