Joyce Berdine (Womack) Harbison, 75, of De Soto died April 27, 2017. Mrs. Harbison enjoyed gardening, flowers, outside work and the beauty of nature. She loved spending time with family, friends and neighbors, as well as the many children she cared for over the years. Born Sept. 24, 1941, she was the daughter of the late H. Cecil and Alpha (Chilton) Womack. She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years: Jerry J. Harbison, who died in 1987.
She is survived by three sons: Joseph K. Harbison of St. Louis; James D. (Donna) Harbison of De Soto and Jay (Tracy) Harbison of De Soto; a sister: Lillie Frank Lawrence of Orange Park, Fla.; and a host of family members and friends.
Funeral services were held May 7 at the McSpadden Funeral Home Chapel in Ellsinore. Arrangements were under the direction of McSpadden Funeral Home.
