Jordyn Rachelle Daniels, 29, of Columbia died Dec. 12, 2020, at her home. Miss Daniels graduated from Festus High School where she played flute in the band. She worked for three years at a driver license Bureau for the Missouri Department of Revenue for six years as a receptionist for the Jefferson City YMCA. She enjoyed reading, baking, cooking, watching movies, especially the “Wizard of Oz,” spending time with her cat and hanging out with friends. Born Aug. 31, 1991, in Jerseyville, Ill., she was the daughter of Michael (Stacey) Daniels of Festus and Angela (Reggie) Stapleton of Jefferson City.
She also is survived by two brothers: Michael Daniels of Festus and Maurice Berry of Davenport, Iowa; a sister: Adriene Hubbard of Detroit, Mich.; a grandmother: Kathy Wallace of Alton, Ill.; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by three grandparents: Edward “Tedd” Wallace and Carl and Regina Fae Daniels.
Funeral services were today (Dec. 16) at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors in Jefferson City. Burial was in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens in Jefferson City. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Arrangements were under the direction of Houser-Millard Funeral Directors.
