John Milton Williams, 74, of Pevely died March 25, 2017, at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis County. Mr. Williams was a retired frame man for Bissell Truck & Frame Body Shop in St. Louis. Born Sept. 20, 1942, in Biloxi, Miss., he was the son of the late Lois (Jordan) Bowles and John Milton Seymour.
He is survived by his wife: Linda Faye (Johns) Williams; two daughters: Tina (Michael) Mudd of De Soto and Kimberly (Jeff) Mooney of Hillsboro; a son: Terry (Katherine) Williams of Hillsboro; a sister-in-law: Barbara Webb of Ocean Springs, Miss.; six grandchildren: Dawn (Kyle) Armstrong, Shea (Wayne) Rector, Jessica (Justin) Graham, Brandon (Tiffani) Mooney, Devin Williams and Tyler Williams; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Robert Webb and Charles Seymour.
Visitation is at 5 p.m. and a funeral service is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 30, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main, in Festus, officiated by Pastor Dan Ross. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
