John Martin Rowe, 61, of Festus died Oct. 20, 2026, in Crystal City. Mr. Rowe loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his son. He enjoyed fishing and working with his hands. He was a talented carpenter and tinkerer who enjoyed fixing things. Born Oct. 11, 1965, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late John G. Rowe and Clara A. (Sturman) Berry.
He is survived by his son: Wyatt Joseph Hansen of Cedar Hill; the mother of his son: Robin (Sean LaChance) Hansen; a cousin: Rhonda Copeland; two lifelong friends: Larry “Tiny” Sauer and Michael Wymer; his brother-in-heart: James Kaysing; an aunt: Rosie Sturman of Collinsville, Ill.; and numerous other family members and friends.
