Johanna T. Hawkins, 61, of Barnhart died Sept. 19, 2022, at her home. Mrs. Hawkins worked for more than 20 years with Taylor Packaging. She enjoyed taking part in cornhole tournaments and playing Christmas Party games with her work family. She also liked crafting, fishing and hunting for treasures at thrift stores, garage sales and in the backyard. Born July 25, 1961, in Inarajan, Guam, she was the daughter of the late Elisa and Raymundo Taimanglo Sr.
She is survived by her partner of 24 years: DeAnna Kraus; three children: Timothy W. (Adriana) Hawkins, Brittany (Bryian Macke) Hawkins and EJ (Sasha) Kraus; seven grandchildren: Alektra, Alyssa, Mason, Nova, Isabella, Maxton and Myles; and various family members in Inarajan, Guam, including: Raymundo (Cecelia) Taimanglo Jr., Held T. Castro, Eddie (Ruth) Taimanglo, Evelyn T. Famisaran, Therese Aguon, Sherey Taimanglo-Egbo, Arthur Taimanglo and Donna Taimanglo.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Jerry Taimanglo; and a sister: Betty Dahill.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. with a memorial service at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in St. Louis County. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kutis Funeral Home.
