Jeremy Scott Billingsley, 32, of De Soto died April 13, 2019, in De Soto. Mr. Billingsley was a carpenter for a construction company who took great pride in his work. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing guitar and drums, bonfires, being outside cutting fields and spending time with his family. Born Sept. 28, 1986, in St. Louis, he was the son of Brenda (Tresch) Giffin of De Soto and Arthur (Debbie) Billingsley Jr. of Belleville, Ill. He also is survived by a stepfather: Mike Giffin of De Soto; two daughters: Elena and BriAnn Billingsley; three brothers: Mark Billingsley of O’Fallon, Jason Billingsley of St. Peters and Aiden Billingsley of Arnold; a sister: Ashley Billingsley of Pevely; two nieces: Marissa Purfeerst and Chloe Billingsley; and two nephews: Ryan Billingsley and Evan Billingsley.
A memorial gathering will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, April 18, at Mahn Funeral Home, 900 North Main St., in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
