Jeanne M. (Talley) Cawvey, 72, of Festus died Oct. 20, 2020, at her home. Ms. Cawvey graduated from Kearney-Watts High School in San Diego, Calif., and had worked as a purse designer at Spielberg Manufacturing. She was a business owner, an avid Cardinals baseball fan and loved Elvis Presley. She was born Dec. 1, 1947, in Clayton, the daughter of the late Robert H. Talley and Mary Elizabeth (Dean) Cawvey.
She is survived by a son: Patrick C. (Rhonda) Cawvey of Festus; two grandchildren: Dallas K. Cawvey and Dylan L Cawvey, both of Festus; four brothers: Michael (Debbie) Cawvey of Festus, Brian (Cindy) Cawvey of Imperial, Allan (Janet) Cawvey of Pevely and John (Shari) Cawvey of Herculaneum; and her friend and caregiver: Renee Robinson.
She was preceded in death by: a daughter: Mary Elizabeth Willtis; a brother: Rodger Cawvey; a niece: Heather Cawvey; a nephew: Nathaniel Monroe; and her longtime companion and beloved friend: Paul W. Patterson
Ms. Cawvey chose to be cremated. The family will plan a memorial gathering at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert D. Brown Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
